Peugeot 607 windscreen price, by year

Pricing varies mainly by acoustic glass availability. Models equipped with acoustic (noise-reduction) lamination carry a higher replacement cost than standard variants, reflecting the specialised glass composition and encapsulation complexity. Generation age is less of a factor here since the 607 spans a single continuous production run with consistent glass specifications throughout.

Year Price range Quote
2010 £431 — £431 Price my 2010
2009 £431 — £637 Price my 2009
2008 £431 — £637 Price my 2008

The displayed range is an indicator — the final price is produced by the quote form after you confirm your variant. Older Peugeot 607 models can still be booked.

Had to replace the windscreen on our 18 year old car

Had to replace the windscreen on our 18 year old car because it had become dangerous due to thousands of micro chips. The low winter sun made it impossible to see out of. Searching online found UK Car Glass. The price was reasonable and I made an online booking for 2 days later. Unfortunately due to storms a nice lady from the company phoned me and asked if we could postpone fitting for 2 days till the weather cleared which was no problem. The fitter turned up as promised and the job was done within half an hour. Overall a good experience. UK Car Glass appear to be a nationwide company who sub contract to existing windscreen fitting companies. In view of this it may be worthwhile directly contacting a local firm first to check their pricing as it's possible they may be a bit cheaper because their won't be a middleman. However, I've no complaints. Ease of booking, communication etc is excellent.

More professional than autoglass

Polite, prompt and efficient. Contacted Uk Car Glass and autoglass for quotes, autoglass were suppose to call with in a window and they didn’t, by the time they contacted me the job had been done.

Very happy with UK car glass

Very happy with UK car glass. They offered the lowest quote and an online booking service. After an initial confirmation email, I heard nothing further for a week, so I called to check that my car was still booked in for a new windscreen. I was informed that it was and they would be in touch to confirm the ETA. The team kept me informed over the weekend, the technician called and updated me again on the day, and arrived when he said he would. The screen was changed efficiently and the technician was polite and helpful. I would use the company again and recommend UK car glass to others.

  2. 2

We arrange a parts check to verify the correct replacement glass matches your factory specification.

  3. 3

We match you with an approved local technician in your area and confirm a convenient appointment.

  4. 4

On fitting day, your fitter replaces the encapsulated windscreen (typically 45–90 minutes of the technician's time) and confirms the drive-away time before finishing.

  5. 5

Your replacement glass is covered by a two-year warranty against manufacturing faults and poor workmanship.

Once booked, you'll receive updates and technician contact details — we handle the coordination so you can focus on arranging your time.

Mobile fitting or workshop visit for your 607?

The Peugeot 607 does not require ADAS camera calibration after windscreen replacement, since this model predates modern driver assistance systems. This means mobile replacement at your address is available as standard — your fitter arrives with the glass and tools, and completes the job on your driveway or car park.

If you prefer a workshop visit instead, this can be arranged; the choice is yours at booking. Workshop replacement may suit you if weather is poor or if you'd like your car inside a controlled environment during the fitting.

We confirm the specific answer for your vehicle when you book.

What features does your 607 have?

Tap a feature to see what it is, how to spot it on your car, and how it affects glass replacement. We confirm the exact match for your vehicle when you book.

  • Clear2
    2000–2010Calibration varies by vehicle

On the Peugeot 607: fitted on every one of the 2 windscreen variants we list; model years 2000–2010; calibration varies by vehicle.

Clear windscreen glass has no tint; most cars have a slight tint as standard.

    What it means

A clear windscreen contains no added tint layer. Most modern windscreens incorporate a subtle tint (typically blue, green, grey or bronze) as standard to reduce glare, provide UV protection, and improve cabin comfort. A genuinely clear windscreen is the absence of this tint. Clear glass is less common than tinted variants and is sometimes specified for aesthetic or operational reasons, though the tint difference is usually imperceptible to the naked eye.

    How to tell

Lower your side window halfway and hold a white piece of paper behind it. If you see a noticeable colour cast (blue, green, grey or bronze) in the side glass, your windscreen has the same tint. You can also ask your vehicle's dealership or service centre to confirm the windscreen specification in your service records.

    Replacement impact

Clear windscreen replacement uses the same installation process as any other windscreen. No special calibration or extended cure time applies. Sourcing is straightforward — clear glass is widely available as an aftermarket replacement. Installation time and drive-away restrictions follow standard windscreen replacement timings. If your vehicle has ADAS features (forward-facing camera or radar), calibration may be required after replacement depending on your specific vehicle; we confirm this when we look up your car details.

  • Coating2
    2000–2010

On the Peugeot 607: fitted on every one of the 2 windscreen variants we list; model years 2000–2010.

    What it means

A blue or purple tint applied to the glass that provides UV and heat protection, often invisible to the naked eye but visible in strong sunlight.

    On your Peugeot 607

All 607 windscreens carry protective coating; this is standard across the range.

  • Rain Sensor2
    2000–2010No calibration after replacement

On the Peugeot 607: fitted on every one of the 2 windscreen variants we list; model years 2000–2010; no calibration after replacement.

    What it means

Your wipers automatically activate when moisture is detected on the windscreen — no manual control needed in light rain.

    On your Peugeot 607

Standard across all 607 variants from 2000 onwards.

  • Vin Notch2
    2000–2010

On the Peugeot 607: fitted on every one of the 2 windscreen variants we list; model years 2000–2010.

    What it means

A small rectangular box printed or etched along the bottom edge of the windscreen, displaying part of your vehicle's chassis number for identification purposes.

    On your Peugeot 607

Present on all 607 models; confirmed during your quote process.

  • Acoustic (Noise reduction)1
    2001–2009

On the Peugeot 607: fitted on 1 of the 2 windscreen variants we list (50%); model years 2001–2009.

    What it means

Specialised lamination that dampens road and wind noise, making the cabin noticeably quieter — look for 'Acoustic' or 'SoundScreen' labelling or an ear symbol in the corners.

    On your Peugeot 607

Available on select higher-trim models; identifiable via the Peugeot L3P option code or physical markings on the glass corners. Confirmed when you provide your variant details.

About the Peugeot 607

The Peugeot 607 was produced from 2000 to 2010, spanning one long generation as a large executive saloon. It represented Peugeot's flagship offering during this era, with a straightforward windscreen specification throughout its production run.

All 607 models carry a laminated windscreen with an encapsulated rubber trim bonded directly to the glass edges — meaning your replacement arrives as a complete panel-plus-trim unit. Rain sensors were fitted across the range, automatically activating wipers in wet weather, and all variants carry a VIN notch along the bottom edge for chassis identification.

Acoustic noise-reduction glass was available as an option on certain trims, identifiable by the Peugeot L3P option code or acoustic labelling in the corners. Since the 607 predates modern ADAS driver assistance systems, no camera calibration is required after replacement — a straightforward fit with no post-replacement sensor work.

Frequently asked questions

The questions customers ask us most often.

You don't need to know. Our online widget asks a few quick questions — make, model, year, and a couple of feature details — to narrow the variant down. Once booked, our parts check team verifies the exact specification against your VIN before the job is dispatched.

Almost always, yes, where a forward-facing camera is fitted. The technicians in our network include ADAS-calibration-certified specialists — we confirm whether your job needs a workshop or can complete on your driveway when we book.

Your replacement glass matches your original factory specification — same size, features and trim fitment as the glass the car left the factory with. It's UK-approved for the road and typically supplied by tier-1 manufacturers like Pilkington, Saint-Gobain, and AGC.

OEM-branded glass (with the vehicle-maker logo) is available on request at a higher price.

Most windscreen replacements happen at your chosen location — home, office, or car park. Some jobs are better suited to a workshop — for example, windscreens with ADAS cameras needing static calibration, or where access to power, shelter, or controlled conditions makes the work safer indoors. We let you know when we confirm your booking.

Most windscreen replacements take 45–90 minutes of the technician's time. ADAS calibration extends the technician's time on the job, but cure time runs in parallel — so it doesn't usually delay when you can drive. Your technician will confirm exact timings on the day.

Most UK comprehensive policies include glass cover, typically with an excess of £75–£100. If your insurer is on our approved list, the specialist you're matched with bills them directly and you just pay the excess.

Otherwise you can pay UK Car Glass directly and claim back from your insurer — our all-inclusive price is often lower than the excess anyway, so paying direct can work out cheaper.

Two years on workmanship defects — water leaks, wind noise, bonding failures — from the date of replacement. If the specialist's work isn't right, we arrange to put it right under the warranty process.

Acoustic noise-reduction glass was an optional feature on certain 607 trims. You can check by looking for the word 'Acoustic' or the image of an ear in one of the four corners of your windscreen, or by contacting your dealership with your VIN to confirm the original specification. When you book through UK Car Glass, our parts check will verify whether your replacement should include this feature.

Yes. All 607 models are fitted with both rain sensors and a VIN notch as standard, so your replacement will include both. The encapsulated trim is bonded to the glass at the factory, meaning these features arrive pre-fitted as part of the panel you're replacing.

Mobile replacement at your address is the standard option — your fitter arrives and fits the glass without the need for a workshop visit. However, if you prefer a workshop location (for weather, convenience, or peace of mind), you can request this when booking. Since the 607 has no ADAS calibration requirement, the choice is entirely yours.
