Who we are
We're not a local shop with a fleet of vans. We're a booking service
that connects drivers across the UK with vetted mobile windscreen
technicians in their area. We handle the parts sourcing, stock
confirmation and booking — and our technician network handles the
fitting at your home, workplace or a nearby workshop.
UK Car Glass Ltd was incorporated on
20 December 2016 and started operating in
2019, once the booking and dispatch platform behind
the business was ready to launch. The platform itself is an
offspring of Rudefix, a Danish auto glass operator
that, in the mid-2010s, set out to replace manual quoting with
software — work that turned into the system the UK side has used
ever since.
How we work
When you request a quote, we match your vehicle to the right glass
specification, check availability with our suppliers, and dispatch
a qualified technician from our network. Most bookings are
completed within 24 to 72 hours, depending on glass availability
and whether ADAS recalibration is required.
We cover most of the UK, with the exception of the Scottish
Highlands and islands, far western Wales, and a small number of
other remote areas where we don't currently have a reliable local
partner.

Every booking is covered by a 2-year workmanship warranty,
valid anywhere in the UK through our technician network. Our
technicians are vetted and qualified glass specialists, fitting
factory-spec, UK-approved glass that matches your vehicle's
original specification.
