Do you use Original Equipment (OE) branded glass?

We use OEM-Quality, OEE-certified glass from the same manufacturers that supply vehicle factories (such as Pilkington and Saint-Gobain). This glass meets all the safety and technical standards of your original windscreen—the only difference is the Original Equipment (OE) logo stamp.

We can also assist with an OE (branded) quote through the dealership, but our online prices default to OEM/OEE options.

Colour tone in car glass

Approximately 90% of windscreens have a subtle green colour tone. If your front windscreen has a colour tone, your side windows usually do as well.

How to check your glass tint

1. Roll the side window halfway down.
2. Place half a sheet of white paper behind the side window.
3. Look through the glass at the paper and note any colour tone.

If the paper appears slightly green or blue through the side window, your front and rear windscreens will typically have the same colour tone.

Exceptions

There are cases where the windscreen and other glass are not identical in colour tone. This commonly occurs when the rear windscreen and door glass have privacy glass, which can appear dark green or moderately black.

How can I replace the side window on my car?

Our mobile service covers all car glass, including side (door) windows. A qualified technician will come to your location and replace the required door glass on-site.

Availability may vary by postcode and parts stock. If your area falls outside our mobile coverage, we’ll help arrange the nearest workshop appointment.

Do you replace small side windows?

Yes — small side windows such as vent and quarter glass can be replaced. However, these parts are often dealership-only items and are not directly bookable through our website.

Please contact us in advance with your small-glass replacement needs so we can source the correct part and provide a quote. Lead times may vary by make and model.

How much time do you need for my car glass replacement?

We ask for a two-hour time slot for your car glass replacement, although it usually doesn’t take that long. Please complete the booking process on our home page to choose a date and time that suit you.

Our technicians will call you on the day of the replacement to confirm your time slot.

Can you replace my car glass in any weather?

The glass and bonding surfaces must be completely dry during replacement. That said, all is not lost if it’s raining — most replacements can still go ahead if a covered area (such as a garage or carport) is available for the technician to work under.

If no suitable cover is available and conditions are wet, we’ll help you reschedule or arrange a workshop visit to ensure a safe, high‑quality installation.
