Peugeot 107 windscreen price, by year

Replacement costs are relatively consistent across the 107 range because all variants share the same windscreen specification — green tint and solar control are fitted across the board. Variation is minimal, meaning pricing remains stable regardless of which 107 variant you own.

5 stars from start to finish

I received an instant quote from UK Car Glass, £200 cheaper than a competitor for a full windscreen replacement. Booked it, technician arrived when he said he would, communication throughout was outstanding and the work done was top notch. I couldn't fault the service I received, 5 stars.

Booking on line took order and confirmed the window screen replacement for this Tuesday, arranged to travel and take time from work only to get an email today to say can not be done until next week. Terrible service (or lack of service)

Misleading pricing practice

I submitted the details of my vehicle including license plate (from which they can get the VIN) and was given a quote for a replacement windscreen with calibration and home installation. It was a good price compared to competitors and the technician would have been able to repair at home. I accepted the quote and made payment for £889.11, and waited for the confirmation of date and time of installment. 18 hours later I received a call saying that a technician would be able to come out tomorrow to install, however the price quoted was incorrect and in fact it would be £200 more expensive as they got the windscreen part number wrong. Very annoying and potentially misleading pricing practice. I told them to recredit my card and that I would look elsewhere

  1. 1

Answer a quick online quiz about your 107 (year, trim, and features) — takes under 60 seconds.

  2. 2

Receive an instant quote and choose your preferred date and location (mobile at your address or workshop visit).

  3. 3

Complete your booking in under two minutes and receive confirmation with your technician's contact details.

  4. 4

On the day, your fitter will inspect the frame, fit the replacement glass, and confirm your drive-away time before leaving.

  5. 5

Your replacement is covered by a two-year warranty against workmanship and glass defects.

From quote to booking takes minutes — the actual fit typically completes within a couple of hours.

Mobile fitting or workshop visit for your 107?

The Peugeot 107 is straightforward — mobile replacement at your address is the default option and suits most owners. There are no ADAS cameras or calibration requirements on this generation, so a workshop visit is only necessary if you prefer one or if your location makes a mobile visit impractical.

  • Green2
    2005–2014

Green tint reduces glare and improves visual comfort by filtering certain light wavelengths.

    What it means

Green tint is a light-filtering coating applied to the glass during manufacture. It absorbs and reduces transmission of certain wavelengths of light, primarily to cut glare from sunlight and reflections. The tint is subtle — often barely visible to the naked eye — but measurably improves visual comfort during prolonged driving, particularly in bright conditions. It's a factory specification chosen by the vehicle manufacturer to balance daylight comfort with interior visibility and aesthetic consistency across all glass in the vehicle.

    How to tell

The easiest way to check is to roll your side window halfway down and hold a piece of white paper behind it. Look carefully for a tint cast — green tint will appear as a subtle green hue compared to clear glass. Your windscreen will have the same tint as your side windows. You can also ask your vehicle's dealership or service centre — they'll have the original specification on file.

    Replacement impact

Green-tinted replacement glass must match the original tint specification to maintain visual consistency across all windows and preserve the vehicle's interior aesthetics. Aftermarket OE-equivalent (OEE) green-tinted glass is widely available, though some vehicles may require original equipment (OEM) dealership glass if the tint specification is proprietary. Tint does not affect calibration, cure time, or installation procedure — it's a cosmetic and functional specification only.

  • Solar Control2
    2005–2014

Solar control glass absorbs infrared rays to reduce heat and improve cabin comfort.

    What it means

Solar control is a coating applied to the windscreen that absorbs the sun's infrared radiation rather than allowing it to pass through into the cabin. This reduces solar heat gain, helping to keep the interior cooler and more comfortable, particularly in warm weather or direct sunlight. The coating is transparent to visible light, so it doesn't darken the windscreen or affect visibility. It's a passive thermal management feature that works continuously whenever the sun is shining on the glass.

    How to tell

Check your vehicle's specification sheet or contact your dealership service centre to confirm whether solar control glass is fitted. Some manufacturers list it as 'solar control windscreen', 'heat-reflective glass', or 'thermal management glass'. It's a factory-fitted feature and won't be visibly obvious from outside the car — the coating is integral to the glass itself.

    Replacement impact

Solar control glass is a factory-fitted specification. When replacing the windscreen, a solar control variant must be sourced to match the original. This is a standard glass type with no special fitting implications or calibration requirements. Cure and drive-away times follow normal windscreen bonding procedures. Confirm with your fitter that the replacement glass includes solar control to maintain the original thermal performance.

About the Peugeot 107

The Peugeot 107 was produced from 2005 to 2014 as a compact city car, remaining largely consistent throughout its lifecycle with straightforward laminated windscreen technology.

All variants in our catalogue feature green-tinted glass and solar-control coating as standard, helping reduce interior heat buildup and UV exposure. These features are consistent across the model's run, making identification straightforward at the quote stage.

The 107 predates Peugeot's modern ADAS era — no front-camera systems or calibration requirements apply to this generation, so windscreen replacement is a simpler, faster job with no post-fit diagnostics needed.
