The Vauxhall Grandland X has been in production since 2016, establishing itself as a core compact SUV in Vauxhall's range. From launch, the model has featured modern windscreen technology including acoustic glass for noise reduction and green-tinted safety glass as standard across the range.
From around the mid-2010s onwards, Vauxhall introduced camera-equipped windscreens on Grandland X variants, bringing forward-facing safety systems and driver-assistance features. These windscreens carry camera brackets behind the glass and require specialist calibration after replacement — a process completed on the day as part of the fit, with no impact on your drive-away time.
All current Grandland X variants on our network carry solar-control glass to reduce cabin heat, acoustic interlayers for refinement, and pre-fitted encapsulation (the rubber gasket is bonded to the glass at the factory). Some variants include rain sensors for automatic wiper activation, and a limited number offer heated windscreens for winter demisting.
