The Vauxhall Frontera was produced from 1991 to 2004, spanning two generations of rugged SUV design. Early models featured straightforward laminated windscreens with a characteristic green tint, standard across the range.
Later variants introduced the blue sun strip — a gradient band across the top that reduces glare without affecting visibility — though this was fitted to only some trims and years. Most Fronteras also carried a VIN notch along the bottom of the windscreen for chassis identification.
Being a vehicle of the pre-ADAS era, Frontera windscreens do not require camera calibration after replacement, making the job straightforward and mobile-friendly for most owners.
