The Hyundai i10 has been in continuous production since 2008, evolving through three distinct generations. Early models carried straightforward laminated windscreens with a green tint and VIN notch, typical of city cars from that era.
From the mid-2010s onwards, later generations introduced acoustic laminated windscreens on higher trim levels, improving cabin quietness. A minority of i10 variants also feature a green sun strip — a tinted gradient band at the top of the windscreen that cuts overhead glare.
From around 2019, select i10 models began introducing Hyundai SmartSense, the brand's driver-assistance suite. This brings a front-view camera mounted to the windscreen, which requires static calibration after any windscreen replacement using Hyundai diagnostic equipment.
