Hyundai H-100 windscreen price, by year

H-100 pricing is straightforward because the model predates modern ADAS systems—no camera calibration complexity is involved. Variation is minimal across the single active variant, making quotation consistent and fitting predictable. Your quote reflects the glass specification, any acoustic or specialty features, and the technician's travel time to your location.

Booking on line took order and confirmed the window screen replacement for this Tuesday, arranged to travel and take time from work only to get an email today to say can not be done until next week. Terrible service (or lack of service)

Misleading pricing practice

I submitted the details of my vehicle including license plate (from which they can get the VIN) and was given a quote for a replacement windscreen with calibration and home installation. It was a good price compared to competitors and the technician would have been able to repair at home. I accepted the quote and made payment for £889.11, and waited for the confirmation of date and time of installment. 18 hours later I received a call saying that a technician would be able to come out tomorrow to install, however the price quoted was incorrect and in fact it would be £200 more expensive as they got the windscreen part number wrong. Very annoying and potentially misleading pricing practice. I told them to recredit my card and that I would look elsewhere

What to expect during your Hyundai H-100 windscreen replacement

Booking your H-100 windscreen through UKCG is a three-step journey: quote, parts check, and fitting.

  1. 1

Complete the online quote in about a minute by answering a few questions about your H-100—year, any special features, and your location.

  2. 2

Our parts team confirms the exact glass variant matches your factory specification.

  3. 3

We match you with a local approved fitter who has the glass in stock and can schedule your replacement.

  4. 4

Your fitter attends on a date that suits you—mobile at your address or at a workshop, depending on your preference.

  5. 5

The windscreen is fitted, typically within 45–90 minutes of the fitter's time. Your fitter confirms the minimum drive-away time before leaving.

  6. 6

You're covered by a two-year warranty on both the glass and the workmanship.

No surprises, no hidden costs—just a straightforward booking and a professional fit backed by our network guarantee.

Mobile fitting or workshop visit for your H-100?

The H-100 windscreen does not require ADAS calibration because this commercial vehicle predates modern driver-assistance systems. Mobile fitting at your address is available across the UK, with no workshop visit needed unless you prefer it for convenience or bad weather.

We confirm the specific answer for your vehicle when you book.

What features does your H-100 have?

  • Blue Sun Strip1
    1994–2026

A blue-tinted gradient band across the top of your windscreen that reduces glare without affecting your view of the road.

    What it means

A blue sun strip is a tinted gradient band built into the upper edge of your windscreen's laminate layer. It reduces glare from sunlight reflecting off the road and bonnet without darkening your main field of vision. The tint is created during manufacture as part of the glass laminate itself — it cannot be added or removed later. Sun strips are a windscreen-only feature; rear and side windows cannot carry this effect because they use tempered rather than laminated glass.

    How to tell

Look at the top of your windscreen from inside the car — you'll see a distinct blue-tinted band running horizontally across the upper portion. Check your vehicle's specification sheet or ask your dealership service centre whether your windscreen is listed as a 'blue sun strip' or 'tinted sun strip' variant. Your invoice or parts manual will confirm it.

    Replacement impact

When replacing a windscreen with a blue sun strip, the replacement must be the sun-strip variant — a standard plain windscreen will not replicate the tinted band. Your replacement glass is sourced as an exact match to your original specification. There are no additional calibration or cure implications beyond a standard windscreen replacement. Fitting and drive-away times remain unchanged.

  • Clear1
    1994–2004Calibration varies by vehicle

Clear windscreen glass has no tint; most cars have a slight tint as standard.

    What it means

A clear windscreen contains no added tint layer. Most modern windscreens incorporate a subtle tint (typically blue, green, grey or bronze) as standard to reduce glare, provide UV protection, and improve cabin comfort. A genuinely clear windscreen is the absence of this tint. Clear glass is less common than tinted variants and is sometimes specified for aesthetic or operational reasons, though the tint difference is usually imperceptible to the naked eye.

    How to tell

Lower your side window halfway and hold a white piece of paper behind it. If you see a noticeable colour cast (blue, green, grey or bronze) in the side glass, your windscreen has the same tint. You can also ask your vehicle's dealership or service centre to confirm the windscreen specification in your service records.

    Replacement impact

Clear windscreen replacement uses the same installation process as any other windscreen. No special calibration or extended cure time applies. Sourcing is straightforward — clear glass is widely available as an aftermarket replacement. Installation time and drive-away restrictions follow standard windscreen replacement timings. If your vehicle has ADAS features (forward-facing camera or radar), calibration may be required after replacement depending on your specific vehicle; we confirm this when we look up your car details.

  • Green1
    1994–2026

Green tint reduces glare and improves visual comfort by filtering certain light wavelengths.

    What it means

Green tint is a light-filtering coating applied to the glass during manufacture. It absorbs and reduces transmission of certain wavelengths of light, primarily to cut glare from sunlight and reflections. The tint is subtle — often barely visible to the naked eye — but measurably improves visual comfort during prolonged driving, particularly in bright conditions. It's a factory specification chosen by the vehicle manufacturer to balance daylight comfort with interior visibility and aesthetic consistency across all glass in the vehicle.

    How to tell

The easiest way to check is to roll your side window halfway down and hold a piece of white paper behind it. Look carefully for a tint cast — green tint will appear as a subtle green hue compared to clear glass. Your windscreen will have the same tint as your side windows. You can also ask your vehicle's dealership or service centre — they'll have the original specification on file.

    Replacement impact

Green-tinted replacement glass must match the original tint specification to maintain visual consistency across all windows and preserve the vehicle's interior aesthetics. Aftermarket OE-equivalent (OEE) green-tinted glass is widely available, though some vehicles may require original equipment (OEM) dealership glass if the tint specification is proprietary. Tint does not affect calibration, cure time, or installation procedure — it's a cosmetic and functional specification only.

About the Hyundai H-100

The Hyundai H-100 light commercial vehicle was produced from 1994 to 2004, serving as a compact van for small businesses and tradespeople across Europe. Its straightforward laminated windscreen design reflects the era—durable and functional for commercial use.

H-100 windscreens are consistently clear-tinted across the range, a feature standard to nearly all vehicles of this vintage. Replacement glass matches the original specification and is sourced by the specialist you're matched with, ensuring the fit and seal meet UK road safety standards.
