Vauxhall Crossland X windscreen price, by year

Prices vary primarily with generation and ADAS equipment presence. Earlier Crossland X models without camera systems are generally more affordable to replace. Later variants with front-facing camera systems and calibration requirements incur higher costs due to the additional workshop time and diagnostic work needed to ensure the camera aligns correctly after fitting.

Very happy with UK car glass

Very happy with UK car glass. They offered the lowest quote and an online booking service. After an initial confirmation email, I heard nothing further for a week, so I called to check that my car was still booked in for a new windscreen. I was informed that it was and they would be in touch to confirm the ETA. The team kept me informed over the weekend, the technician called and updated me again on the day, and arrived when he said he would. The screen was changed efficiently and the technician was polite and helpful. I would use the company again and recommend UK car glass to others.

Up/Down Door Glass Replacement

Booked the job online Wednesday morning (process was easy), booked in, glass sourced and completed at my home address Friday morning (at a very competitive rate) - Great service! Note: UKCG subcontract your work out to local businesses. So go and give your local fitter a review aswell

What to expect during your Vauxhall Crossland X windscreen replacement

Booking your Crossland X windscreen replacement is straightforward — from instant quote to fitting day in just a few steps.

  1. 1

Complete a quick online quote through our widget, which identifies your exact variant in under 60 seconds based on make, model, year, and features.

  2. 2

Review your quote and book online — the entire process takes under two minutes.

  3. 3

Our parts team performs a final check to confirm your replacement glass matches your factory specification, including any camera brackets or sensor pads.

  4. 4

You're matched with an approved fitter in your area who arranges a convenient fitting time — typically mobile at your address, or at a workshop if calibration is required.

  5. 5

On fitting day, the fitter removes your old windscreen, prepares the frame, and installs your replacement glass with a factory-matched seal. If your Crossland X has a camera, calibration is completed at the workshop before you drive away.

  6. 6

Your fitter confirms the drive-away time before you leave, and your replacement is covered by a two-year warranty against defects and workmanship.

From quote to the road, we handle the coordination so you can get back to driving safely.

Mobile fitting or workshop visit for your Crossland X?

Most Crossland X windscreen replacements are fitted mobile at your address for convenience. However, if your variant includes a camera system, your replacement will include static calibration of the driver assistance sensors.

Camera calibration requires a workshop environment with target boards and diagnostic equipment to ensure the system aligns correctly. In these cases, the entire job — glass replacement plus calibration — is scheduled at a workshop location to keep everything in one place and ensure the safety-critical setup is completed properly.

  • Heated Windscreen1
    2017–2024

On the Vauxhall Crossland X: fitted on 1 of the 3 windscreen variants we list (33%); model years 2017–2024.

Heated windscreens use embedded wires to quickly clear ice and condensation in cold weather.

    What it means

A heated windscreen is integrated with a fine mesh of electrical wires embedded within the glass itself. When activated, these wires generate heat to warm the windscreen surface, helping to rapidly clear frost, ice, and condensation during cold or damp conditions. This feature improves visibility and safety in winter driving and reduces reliance on engine heat and demister air, which can be slower on very cold mornings.

    How to tell

Check your vehicle's handbook or contact your dealership service centre — they can confirm whether your model includes this feature. Look for a dashboard symbol (usually a windscreen icon with heat waves) when you activate the function, or check your infotainment settings for a heating or climate option linked to the windscreen. Some vehicles have a dedicated button on the stalk or console.

    Replacement impact

Heated windscreens require replacement glass to be of the correct heated specification — standard unheated glass cannot be fitted. The replacement glass must be sourced to match your vehicle's exact heated-wire configuration. Installation is straightforward, though the technician will confirm the heating element is functioning correctly after fitting. No calibration is required for this feature.

  • Mono Camera1
    2017–2026Calibration varies by vehicle

On the Vauxhall Crossland X: fitted on 1 of the 3 windscreen variants we list (33%); model years 2017–2026; calibration varies by vehicle.

A single camera mounted near the rear-view mirror that helps with lane-keeping and collision avoidance.

    What it means

A mono camera is a single-lens camera positioned behind the windscreen, typically in the upper centre area near the rear-view mirror. It captures the road ahead and uses computer vision to detect lane markings, vehicles, and road hazards. The camera feeds data to driver-assistance systems such as lane-keeping assist, lane-departure warning, and forward-collision warning. It forms the visual foundation of these safety features, allowing the vehicle to monitor road position and surrounding traffic automatically.

    How to tell

Look in the black trim area above the windscreen, centred behind the rear-view mirror — you will see a small triangular lens assembly or dark lens cover. Check your vehicle handbook or ask your dealer's service department to confirm your model has lane-assistance or collision-warning features; vehicles with these systems almost always have a mono camera. Dashboard warning symbols related to lane or collision systems also indicate the presence of this camera.

    Replacement impact

When the windscreen is replaced, the camera bracket and lens assembly must be removed and carefully repositioned on the new glass. The camera may require calibration after fitting to ensure accurate road detection and lane recognition. Calibration needs vary by vehicle — we confirm the exact procedure when we look up your specific vehicle. The job may take longer than a standard windscreen replacement, and workshop facilities may be required if calibration demands a controlled environment.

About the Vauxhall Crossland X

The Vauxhall Crossland X has been in continuous production since 2017, establishing itself as a compact crossover in the UK market. All variants carry a green-tinted windscreen with solar-control coating to reduce cabin heat and glare.

From launch, the Crossland X came equipped with a VIN notch along the bottom of the windscreen and an encapsulated gasket — meaning the rubber trim is factory-bonded to the glass, so replacement involves swapping the whole panel as one unit. Most variants include a rain sensor for automatic wiper activation.

Around half of the active models in our catalogue feature a front-facing camera system positioned behind the windscreen, typically for driver assistance functions. Camera-equipped variants require static calibration after replacement, which is carried out in a controlled workshop environment.
