Peugeot 3008 windscreen price, by year

Pricing varies across the 3008 range depending on generation, ADAS equipment, and glass specification. Early models without driver-assistance systems are typically the most affordable to replace.

Later variants with rain sensors, acoustic interlayers, and camera systems carry higher costs due to more complex parts sourcing and the calibration work required after fitting.

Had to replace the windscreen on our 18 year old car

Had to replace the windscreen on our 18 year old car because it had become dangerous due to thousands of micro chips. The low winter sun made it impossible to see out of. Searching online found UK Car Glass. The price was reasonable and I made an online booking for 2 days later. Unfortunately due to storms a nice lady from the company phoned me and asked if we could postpone fitting for 2 days till the weather cleared which was no problem. The fitter turned up as promised and the job was done within half an hour. Overall a good experience. UK Car Glass appear to be a nationwide company who sub contract to existing windscreen fitting companies. In view of this it may be worthwhile directly contacting a local firm first to check their pricing as it's possible they may be a bit cheaper because their won't be a middleman. However, I've no complaints. Ease of booking, communication etc is excellent.

More professional than autoglass

Polite, prompt and efficient. Contacted Uk Car Glass and autoglass for quotes, autoglass were suppose to call with in a window and they didn’t, by the time they contacted me the job had been done.

Very happy with UK car glass

Very happy with UK car glass. They offered the lowest quote and an online booking service. After an initial confirmation email, I heard nothing further for a week, so I called to check that my car was still booked in for a new windscreen. I was informed that it was and they would be in touch to confirm the ETA. The team kept me informed over the weekend, the technician called and updated me again on the day, and arrived when he said he would. The screen was changed efficiently and the technician was polite and helpful. I would use the company again and recommend UK car glass to others.

From your online quote through to handover, here's what the replacement journey looks like.

  1. 1

Complete a quick online quiz to identify your exact 3008 variant — we'll confirm your windscreen specification, including any cameras or sensors.

  2. 2

Receive an instant quote based on your variant, generation, and ADAS equipment.

  3. 3

Book your fitting at a time that suits you — mobile at your address or at a workshop location.

  4. 4

Our parts-check team verifies your glass specification matches your vehicle before the technician travels.

  5. 5

Your matched technician arrives, removes the old windscreen, and fits your replacement glass. If your model has a camera, static calibration is completed the same day.

  6. 6

You're confirmed with a minimum drive-away time and a two-year warranty on workmanship and glass quality.

Every 3008 job is backed by our standard two-year warranty and the expertise of specialists on our network.

Mobile fitting or workshop visit for your 3008?

Most 3008 windscreen replacements can be carried out mobile at your home or workplace. However, if your model is equipped with Peugeot's Drive Assist Plus camera system, static calibration is required after the glass is fitted.

While some of our technicians can perform this calibration on-site, many require a workshop environment with target boards and controlled conditions. If your variant needs workshop-based calibration, the entire job (replacement and calibration) is scheduled at a workshop location to ensure the safety-critical work is completed properly.

We confirm the specific answer for your vehicle when you book.

On the Peugeot 3008: fitted on 3 of the 6 windscreen variants we list (50%); model years 2016–2024; calibration varies by vehicle.

The moulded trim that surrounds your camera and sensor cluster at the top of the windscreen, typically transferred or supplied with replacement glass.

    What it means

A bracket for safety features is the moulded plastic or composite shroud that sits at the top of the windscreen, framing and protecting the camera and sensor cluster mounted behind the rear-view mirror. This trim cover houses forward-facing driver-assistance cameras and sensors — equipment that monitors the road ahead for lane-keeping, collision warning, adaptive cruise control, and similar safety functions. The bracket itself is part of the vehicle's structural frame, but the trim cover you see is what protects and aesthetically integrates the technology into the windscreen area.

    How to tell

Look at the top centre of your windscreen, just above or around the rear-view mirror. If you see a dark moulded shroud or trim panel — often rectangular or tapered — with a visible lens or sensor window, your vehicle has a bracket for safety features. Your service history or handbook will list any ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) technologies fitted. Ask your dealer or service centre if your vehicle has forward-facing cameras or sensors; if it does, you have a bracket for safety features.

    Replacement impact

On windscreen replacement, the trim cover is typically transferred from your old glass to the new one, or supplied pre-integrated with the replacement depending on the variant. This means minimal disruption to your safety system during the swap. However, if the bracket requires recalibration after glass replacement — which depends on your specific vehicle and camera type — the job may require static calibration (using a target board) or dynamic calibration (a road drive). We confirm the exact calibration procedure when we look up your vehicle.

  • Mono Camera3
    2016–2024Calibration varies by vehicle

On the Peugeot 3008: fitted on 3 of the 6 windscreen variants we list (50%); model years 2016–2024; calibration varies by vehicle.

A single camera mounted near the rear-view mirror that helps with lane-keeping and collision avoidance.

    What it means

A mono camera is a single-lens camera positioned behind the windscreen, typically in the upper centre area near the rear-view mirror. It captures the road ahead and uses computer vision to detect lane markings, vehicles, and road hazards. The camera feeds data to driver-assistance systems such as lane-keeping assist, lane-departure warning, and forward-collision warning. It forms the visual foundation of these safety features, allowing the vehicle to monitor road position and surrounding traffic automatically.

    How to tell

Look in the black trim area above the windscreen, centred behind the rear-view mirror — you will see a small triangular lens assembly or dark lens cover. Check your vehicle handbook or ask your dealer's service department to confirm your model has lane-assistance or collision-warning features; vehicles with these systems almost always have a mono camera. Dashboard warning symbols related to lane or collision systems also indicate the presence of this camera.

    Replacement impact

When the windscreen is replaced, the camera bracket and lens assembly must be removed and carefully repositioned on the new glass. The camera may require calibration after fitting to ensure accurate road detection and lane recognition. Calibration needs vary by vehicle — we confirm the exact procedure when we look up your specific vehicle. The job may take longer than a standard windscreen replacement, and workshop facilities may be required if calibration demands a controlled environment.

  • Defogging Detector1
    2024–2026

On the Peugeot 3008: fitted on 1 of the 6 windscreen variants we list (17%); model years 2024–2026.

A defogging detector automatically clears condensation from your windscreen, improving visibility in damp conditions.

    What it means

A defogging detector is a sensor that monitors moisture levels on the windscreen and triggers the demister system automatically when condensation builds up. It improves driver visibility and safety in damp or cold weather by preventing manual intervention. The sensor typically sits near the rear-view mirror, positioned to sense moisture accumulation on the glass surface.

    How to tell

Check your vehicle's handbook or ask your dealer's service centre whether your model includes an automatic defogging or moisture-sensing demister. Look near the rear-view mirror for a small sensor unit. Some vehicles display an indicator light or message on the dashboard when the system is active.

    Replacement impact

The defogging detector does not affect windscreen replacement or require recalibration after fitting. The sensor itself remains in place and continues to function once the new windscreen is installed. No additional calibration, cure time, or specialist procedures are needed.

  • Heated Windscreen1
    2016–2024

On the Peugeot 3008: fitted on 1 of the 6 windscreen variants we list (17%); model years 2016–2024.

Heated windscreens use embedded wires to quickly clear ice and condensation in cold weather.

    What it means

A heated windscreen is integrated with a fine mesh of electrical wires embedded within the glass itself. When activated, these wires generate heat to warm the windscreen surface, helping to rapidly clear frost, ice, and condensation during cold or damp conditions. This feature improves visibility and safety in winter driving and reduces reliance on engine heat and demister air, which can be slower on very cold mornings.

    How to tell

Check your vehicle's handbook or contact your dealership service centre — they can confirm whether your model includes this feature. Look for a dashboard symbol (usually a windscreen icon with heat waves) when you activate the function, or check your infotainment settings for a heating or climate option linked to the windscreen. Some vehicles have a dedicated button on the stalk or console.

    Replacement impact

Heated windscreens require replacement glass to be of the correct heated specification — standard unheated glass cannot be fitted. The replacement glass must be sourced to match your vehicle's exact heated-wire configuration. Installation is straightforward, though the technician will confirm the heating element is functioning correctly after fitting. No calibration is required for this feature.

  • Heated Wiper Rest Area1
    2016–2024

On the Peugeot 3008: fitted on 1 of the 6 windscreen variants we list (17%); model years 2016–2024.

Heating elements embedded in the glass melt ice from your wipers and the bottom of your windscreen.

    What it means

A heated wiper rest area uses electric heating elements embedded into the windscreen in the area where your wipers park when not in use. These elements warm the glass to prevent ice and frost from bonding to the wiper blades and the lower windscreen edge during cold weather. This reduces the effort needed to clear ice in the morning and helps protect your wipers from damage caused by frozen adhesion to the glass.

    How to tell

Check your windscreen's lower edge where the wipers rest — you may see faint heating lines or elements visible in the glass. Your handbook or service history will confirm the feature. You can also ask your dealer or service centre whether your vehicle is equipped with a heated wiper rest area.

    Replacement impact

When replacing a windscreen with a heated wiper rest area, the replacement glass must include the heating elements. Aftermarket and OE glazing suppliers offer this feature, but availability varies by vehicle. The heating system does not require calibration after replacement, though the technician will ensure the heating element connections are properly restored during installation.

About the Peugeot 3008

The Peugeot 3008 has evolved through multiple generations since 2009, with windscreen specifications shifting significantly as the model matured. Early variants carry straightforward laminated glass, whilst later generations introduced acoustic interlayers, green tinting, and VIN notches as standard or optional features.

From the mid-2010s onwards, higher-specification trims began featuring rain sensors and solar-control glass to improve comfort and thermal efficiency. The current-generation 3008 includes models equipped with Peugeot's Drive Assist Plus system, which requires a front-facing camera mounted behind the windscreen.

Camera-equipped variants need static calibration after replacement, which our network technicians carry out using specialist diagnostic equipment.

Frequently asked questions

The questions customers ask us most often.

You don't need to know. Our online widget asks a few quick questions — make, model, year, and a couple of feature details — to narrow the variant down. Once booked, our parts check team verifies the exact specification against your VIN before the job is dispatched.

Almost always, yes, where a forward-facing camera is fitted. The technicians in our network include ADAS-calibration-certified specialists — we confirm whether your job needs a workshop or can complete on your driveway when we book.

Your replacement glass matches your original factory specification — same size, features and trim fitment as the glass the car left the factory with. It's UK-approved for the road and typically supplied by tier-1 manufacturers like Pilkington, Saint-Gobain, and AGC.

OEM-branded glass (with the vehicle-maker logo) is available on request at a higher price.

Most windscreen replacements happen at your chosen location — home, office, or car park. Some jobs are better suited to a workshop — for example, windscreens with ADAS cameras needing static calibration, or where access to power, shelter, or controlled conditions makes the work safer indoors. We let you know when we confirm your booking.

Most windscreen replacements take 45–90 minutes of the technician's time. ADAS calibration extends the technician's time on the job, but cure time runs in parallel — so it doesn't usually delay when you can drive. Your technician will confirm exact timings on the day.

Most UK comprehensive policies include glass cover, typically with an excess of £75–£100. If your insurer is on our approved list, the specialist you're matched with bills them directly and you just pay the excess.

Otherwise you can pay UK Car Glass directly and claim back from your insurer — our all-inclusive price is often lower than the excess anyway, so paying direct can work out cheaper.

Two years on workmanship defects — water leaks, wind noise, bonding failures — from the date of replacement. If the specialist's work isn't right, we arrange to put it right under the warranty process.

Only if your model is equipped with Peugeot's Drive Assist Plus system, which requires a front camera. Our technicians will identify this during the quote process and arrange the appropriate calibration method — either mobile or at a workshop — as part of your booking.

Earlier models from 2009–2015 typically carry simpler specifications without rain sensors or advanced tinting. Current-generation 3008s (mid-2010s onwards) commonly feature acoustic interlayers, green tinting, rain sensors, and solar-control options as standard or higher-trim choices.

Generation and trim information is identified during your online quote, ensuring the correct specification is sourced for your vehicle.

Most 3008 variants include a VIN notch on the original windscreen. Your replacement will match — the notch is printed during manufacture. This is confirmed during the parts-check stage before fitting.

Acoustic windscreens (option code L3P on Peugeot) are a common specification on 3008 models. Replacement acoustic glass is sourced to match your original — there's no additional cost or complexity, and it's handled as part of the standard process.
