The Fiat Strada has been in continuous production since 1997, evolving through multiple generations as a compact light commercial vehicle and passenger pickup. Its rear window has tracked the brand's evolution from straightforward toughened glass to modern variants with integrated features like green tint and solar control coatings.
From the 2020 model year onwards, Fiat introduced the Co-Driver ADAS system across its range, which uses forward-facing cameras and sensors. Windscreen replacement on newer Stradas requires camera recalibration after the glass is fitted, but rear-window replacement does not. The rear window itself is toughened glass — designed to shatter safely into small pieces if broken, which means shard cleanup is part of the fitting job.
