The Lexus ES 300H has been in continuous production since 2018, with all current variants from 2019 onwards equipped with advanced safety features as standard. Every windscreen on the ES 300H includes a forward-facing camera integrated into the glass, forming the core of Lexus Safety System+ (LSS+) — Lexus's suite of driver-assistance systems.
Every variant also features acoustic glass for noise reduction, solar-control coating to absorb infrared heat, rain sensors for automatic wiper activation, and a heated windscreen element. These features create a more complex windscreen than earlier generations, but they're consistent across the range, so replacement specification is straightforward.
Because all current ES 300H models carry the LSS+ camera system, windscreen replacement includes static camera calibration after the glass is fitted. This is a documented requirement and is factored into the technician's schedule on the day.
