Renault Zoe windscreen price, by year

Pricing varies primarily between generation splits—earlier 2013–2017 models and later variants from 2018 onwards. Later Zoes with camera-equipped windscreens and acoustic glass attract higher calibration costs, whilst earlier models without driver assistance systems are generally more straightforward to fit.

Had to replace the windscreen on our 18 year old car

Had to replace the windscreen on our 18 year old car because it had become dangerous due to thousands of micro chips. The low winter sun made it impossible to see out of. Searching online found UK Car Glass. The price was reasonable and I made an online booking for 2 days later. Unfortunately due to storms a nice lady from the company phoned me and asked if we could postpone fitting for 2 days till the weather cleared which was no problem. The fitter turned up as promised and the job was done within half an hour. Overall a good experience. UK Car Glass appear to be a nationwide company who sub contract to existing windscreen fitting companies. In view of this it may be worthwhile directly contacting a local firm first to check their pricing as it's possible they may be a bit cheaper because their won't be a middleman. However, I've no complaints. Ease of booking, communication etc is excellent.

More professional than autoglass

Polite, prompt and efficient. Contacted Uk Car Glass and autoglass for quotes, autoglass were suppose to call with in a window and they didn’t, by the time they contacted me the job had been done.

Very happy with UK car glass

Very happy with UK car glass. They offered the lowest quote and an online booking service. After an initial confirmation email, I heard nothing further for a week, so I called to check that my car was still booked in for a new windscreen. I was informed that it was and they would be in touch to confirm the ETA. The team kept me informed over the weekend, the technician called and updated me again on the day, and arrived when he said he would. The screen was changed efficiently and the technician was polite and helpful. I would use the company again and recommend UK car glass to others.

What to expect during your Renault Zoe windscreen replacement

Booking your Zoe windscreen replacement through UKCG is straightforward.

  1. 1

Answer a quick quiz to identify your exact variant—solar-control, rain sensor, and camera features are confirmed during the quote process.

  2. 2

Receive an instant quote for your windscreen and book your appointment in under two minutes.

  3. 3

You'll be matched with a local approved fitter from our network, typically mobile to your address.

  4. 4

On the day, the fitter removes the damaged windscreen and fits your replacement glass, which matches your factory specification.

  5. 5

If your Zoe has a camera system, calibration is completed as part of the fitting—no separate trip needed.

  6. 6

Your fitter confirms the minimum drive-away time before releasing the vehicle, usually within a few hours.

You're covered by a two-year warranty on workmanship and glass quality from the date of fitting.

Mobile fitting or workshop visit for your Zoe?

Most Zoe windscreen replacements are completed mobile at your address. However, if your model includes a front-facing camera for driver assistance, static calibration with target boards may be required after fitting.

When calibration is needed, the entire job—glass replacement plus calibration—is scheduled at a workshop to ensure the camera system is properly aligned. This avoids splitting the work across locations and guarantees the calibration is completed correctly.

Blue-tinted windscreens reduce glare and heat while maintaining a subtle, modern appearance.

    What it means

A blue tint is a light coloration applied to the windscreen glass, usually during manufacture. It reduces solar heat transmission and glare from sunlight, particularly on bright days or when driving into the sun. The tint is integral to the glass itself — not a separate film — and is chosen by the vehicle manufacturer to balance comfort, visibility, and aesthetic consistency with the vehicle's side windows and rear window. Most vehicles come with a green or blue tint as standard; the choice depends on the manufacturer's design and regional climate considerations.

    How to tell

Check your side windows by rolling one halfway down and holding a white piece of paper behind the glass. If you see a blue tint reflected in the glass, your windscreen will have the same tint. You can also ask your vehicle's dealership or service centre to confirm the windscreen tint specification. The tint is visible when comparing the windscreen to clear glass, though it may be subtle and harder to spot on overcast days.

    Replacement impact

Blue-tinted replacement windscreens must match the original tint to maintain visual consistency with your side and rear windows. Most replacement glass is available in the correct tint through OE (original equipment) suppliers. There is no calibration requirement related to tint. The tint does not affect fitting time, cure time, or drive-away schedules. Ensure the replacement windscreen is specified with the blue tint to avoid a mismatched appearance.

  • Camera1
    2019–2024Calibration varies by vehicle

On the Renault Zoe: fitted on 1 of the 3 windscreen variants we list (33%); model years 2019–2024; calibration varies by vehicle.

A front-facing camera mounted behind the windscreen for driver assistance features like lane-keeping alerts.

    On your Renault Zoe

Found on later Zoe variants with advanced safety packs; identified during your quote, and calibration is included in the fit.

About the Renault Zoe

The Renault Zoe is a compact urban electric vehicle in continuous production since 2013, known for its practicality and low running costs. All current variants in our catalogue feature solar-control windscreens and a VIN notch along the bottom edge.

Three-quarters of Zoe models carry rain sensors for automatic wiper activation and green-tinted glass as standard. Later variants may include acoustic windscreen options and camera-equipped systems for driver assistance, with calibration handled by the technician after fitting.

Frequently asked questions

The questions customers ask us most often.

You don't need to know. Our online widget asks a few quick questions — make, model, year, and a couple of feature details — to narrow the variant down. Once booked, our parts check team verifies the exact specification against your VIN before the job is dispatched.

Almost always, yes, where a forward-facing camera is fitted. The technicians in our network include ADAS-calibration-certified specialists — we confirm whether your job needs a workshop or can complete on your driveway when we book.

Your replacement glass matches your original factory specification — same size, features and trim fitment as the glass the car left the factory with. It's UK-approved for the road and typically supplied by tier-1 manufacturers like Pilkington, Saint-Gobain, and AGC.

OEM-branded glass (with the vehicle-maker logo) is available on request at a higher price.

Most windscreen replacements happen at your chosen location — home, office, or car park. Some jobs are better suited to a workshop — for example, windscreens with ADAS cameras needing static calibration, or where access to power, shelter, or controlled conditions makes the work safer indoors. We let you know when we confirm your booking.

Most windscreen replacements take 45–90 minutes of the technician's time. ADAS calibration extends the technician's time on the job, but cure time runs in parallel — so it doesn't usually delay when you can drive. Your technician will confirm exact timings on the day.

Most UK comprehensive policies include glass cover, typically with an excess of £75–£100. If your insurer is on our approved list, the specialist you're matched with bills them directly and you just pay the excess.

Otherwise you can pay UK Car Glass directly and claim back from your insurer — our all-inclusive price is often lower than the excess anyway, so paying direct can work out cheaper.

Two years on workmanship defects — water leaks, wind noise, bonding failures — from the date of replacement. If the specialist's work isn't right, we arrange to put it right under the warranty process.

No—only around one-quarter of Zoe variants in our catalogue carry a front-facing camera system. Earlier models and some mid-range trims use rain sensors and basic driver assistance without a windscreen-mounted camera. Your variant quiz during booking will confirm whether your Zoe needs camera calibration.

Earlier Zoe models (2013–2017) feature solar-control and rain-sensor glass as standard, with straightforward fitting and no ADAS calibration. Later variants from 2018 onwards began incorporating front cameras for advanced driver assistance, which means calibration is performed after the windscreen is fitted. Both generations carry VIN notches and typically green-tinted glass.

No—acoustic (noise-reducing) windscreens are available on select Zoe variants, typically higher-specification trims. The majority of models come with standard laminated windscreens. Your quote will identify whether your Zoe includes acoustic glass.
