The Fiat Ducato is a light commercial vehicle in continuous production since 1981, serving as a workhorse across Europe. Its windscreen has evolved significantly through multiple generations, from straightforward laminated glass in earlier models to feature-rich variants in modern vehicles.
From around 2020, Fiat introduced forward-facing ADAS camera systems on the Ducato as part of its Co-Driver suite. Modern variants often feature green-tinted laminate, rain sensors, and camera brackets behind the windscreen. Some models carry specialist options like solar-control coatings and heat-absorbing interlayers to reduce cabin temperature on hot days.
When you replace a camera-equipped Ducato windscreen, the forward-facing ADAS camera requires recalibration to restore the vehicle's driver-assist geometry. This is handled through dynamic (drive-based) calibration, which runs in parallel with the adhesive cure — so it doesn't extend the time before you can drive away.
