The Peugeot 206 was in continuous production from 1999 to 2012, spanning three generations of this popular compact car. Rear window glass across these generations is typically toughened (unlike the laminated windscreen), meaning it shatters into small pieces if broken — making shard cleanup a significant part of the replacement job.
Two-thirds of active 206 variants in our network carry green-tinted rear glass, which reduces glare and heat. Around two-thirds also feature solar-control coatings that absorb infrared rays, helping keep the cabin cooler in summer. Some variants carry matching darker green tinting on the rear side windows, adding privacy.
