The Mercedes CLK model was first introduced in 1997 as a replacement for the earlier Mercedes E-Class Coupe. The CLK was available in two- and four door versions, with a choice of petrol or diesel engines.
In terms of design, the CLK was a departure from the traditional Mercedes look, with a more sporty and contemporary feel. This was reflected in the range of available engines, with powerful V6 and V8 options. The four-door version was later discontinued, leaving the two-door model as the sole option.
Production of the CLK ended in 2009, with the introduction of the new E-Class Coupe. However, the CLK remains popular for those looking for a used Mercedes coupe.
