The Toyota GT86 has been in continuous production since 2012, carving out a niche as an affordable, driver-focused coupé. All variants carry a laminated windscreen with a green tint and solar-control coating to manage heat and UV.
Earlier models (2012–2016) feature straightforward laminated windscreens. From 2017 onwards, some GT86 variants introduced a green sun strip at the top of the windscreen—a green-tinted gradient band built into the laminate that cuts glare from above. This feature must be matched exactly on replacement.
Camera systems arrived later in the GT86's lifecycle. Depending on specification and market timing, some newer variants may carry Toyota Safety Sense equipment; however, specific camera era data for the GT86 is not currently available, so confirmation happens during your quote.
