Kia EV6 windscreen price, by year

Pricing reflects the presence of ADAS calibration — all EV6 variants require static camera recalibration after windscreen replacement, which adds to the technician's time on the job. Earlier variants may offer slightly different trim specifications, but all carry the same core camera and rain-sensor equipment. Calibration complexity is consistent across the range, so variation is modest.

Year Price range Quote
2026 £817 — £1,513 Price my 2026
2025 £817 — £1,513 Price my 2025
2024 £817 — £1,513 Price my 2024
2023 £817 — £1,513 Price my 2023
2022 £817 — £1,513 Price my 2022
2021 £817 — £1,513 Price my 2021

The displayed range is an indicator — the final price is produced by the quote form after you confirm your variant. Older EV6s can still be booked.

More professional than autoglass

Polite, prompt and efficient. Contacted Uk Car Glass and autoglass for quotes, autoglass were suppose to call with in a window and they didn’t, by the time they contacted me the job had been done.

Very happy with UK car glass

Very happy with UK car glass. They offered the lowest quote and an online booking service. After an initial confirmation email, I heard nothing further for a week, so I called to check that my car was still booked in for a new windscreen. I was informed that it was and they would be in touch to confirm the ETA. The team kept me informed over the weekend, the technician called and updated me again on the day, and arrived when he said he would. The screen was changed efficiently and the technician was polite and helpful. I would use the company again and recommend UK car glass to others.

What to expect during your Kia EV6 windscreen replacement

Your EV6 windscreen replacement follows a straightforward journey from quote to fitting.

  1. 1

Start with a quick online quote using our guided widget — takes under a minute to identify your exact variant and get a price.

  2. 2

Once booked, our parts-check team confirms your replacement glass matches your factory spec, including the camera bracket and rain-sensor pads.

  3. 3

You're matched with an approved fitter in your area who has the tools for ADAS camera calibration.

  4. 4

On fitting day, the technician replaces your windscreen, refits the camera bracket, and completes static calibration using dedicated equipment — typically at a workshop location to ensure accuracy.

  5. 5

Your fitter confirms the minimum drive-away time before you leave (calibration runs in parallel with adhesive cure, so it doesn't extend the time before you can drive).

  6. 6

You're covered by a two-year warranty on workmanship and glass quality.

Book with confidence — our network handles ADAS calibration as standard, and your EV6's safety systems are verified before you drive away.

Mobile fitting or workshop visit for your EV6?

Your EV6 windscreen replacement typically requires a workshop visit because static ADAS camera calibration is integral to the job. The technician needs a controlled environment with calibration target boards to verify that lane-keeping and collision-avoidance systems are working correctly after the glass is replaced.

This isn't a limitation — it's a safety requirement. The fitter you're matched with has the equipment and expertise to complete calibration on the day, and drive-away time is confirmed before you leave (calibration runs in parallel with adhesive cure, so it doesn't delay your departure).

We confirm the specific answer for your vehicle when you book.

What features does your EV6 have?

Tap a feature to see what it is, how to spot it on your car, and how it affects glass replacement. We confirm the exact match for your vehicle when you book.

  • Acoustic (Noise reduction)5
    2021–2026

On the Kia EV6: fitted on every one of the 5 windscreen variants we list; model years 2021–2026.

Acoustic glass reduces cabin noise for a quieter, more comfortable ride.

    What it means

Acoustic windscreen glass is laminated with a special acoustic interlayer that absorbs and dampens sound vibrations. It reduces exterior noise—from traffic, wind, and road surface—before it enters the passenger compartment. This makes the cabin noticeably quieter and creates a more peaceful driving experience. It's a comfort feature, not a safety one; standard laminated windscreens already meet impact safety requirements.

    How to tell

Check your windscreen for an ear symbol, the word 'Acoustic', a capital 'A', or the term 'SoundScreen' printed in one of the four corners. These markings indicate acoustic-grade glass. You can also ask your vehicle's dealership or service centre whether your model came fitted with acoustic glass—it's often a factory option on comfort or premium trims.

    Replacement impact

Acoustic glass is always laminated and bonds to the frame like any standard windscreen, so replacement follows the normal bonded-glass procedure. No specialist calibration is required. The replacement technician will fit it using standard adhesive and sealant. Cure time and drive-away restrictions are identical to standard laminated windscreens. Acoustic glass is widely available as an aftermarket OE-equivalent option.

  • Camera5
    2021–2026Calibration varies by vehicle

On the Kia EV6: fitted on every one of the 5 windscreen variants we list; model years 2021–2026; calibration varies by vehicle.

    What it means

A forward-facing camera mounted behind the windscreen that powers DriveWise ADAS functions like lane-departure warning and collision avoidance.

    On your Kia EV6

Look for one or two small triangular black brackets in the black field near the rear-view mirror — confirmed on all EV6 models from 2021 onward.

    • 2Static

  • Defogging Detector5
    2021–2026

On the Kia EV6: fitted on every one of the 5 windscreen variants we list; model years 2021–2026.

    What it means

A sensor that detects windscreen fogging and can trigger automatic demisting to clear condensation quickly.

    On your Kia EV6

Typically located near the rear-view mirror; confirmed during the quote process as part of your EV6's standard equipment.

  • Green5
    2021–2026

On the Kia EV6: fitted on every one of the 5 windscreen variants we list; model years 2021–2026.

    What it means

A subtle green tint applied to the glass during manufacturing, common on modern vehicles but easy to miss if you're not looking carefully.

    On your Kia EV6

Examine the windscreen edge-on in bright sunlight — you'll see a faint green hue, confirmed on all EV6 variants.

  • Rain Sensor5
    2021–2026No calibration after replacement

On the Kia EV6: fitted on every one of the 5 windscreen variants we list; model years 2021–2026; no calibration after replacement.

    What it means

An optical sensor embedded in the windscreen that detects rain and automatically activates your wipers.

    On your Kia EV6

If your wipers come on automatically when it starts raining, you have a rain sensor — standard on all EV6 variants.

  • Vin Notch5
    2021–2026

On the Kia EV6: fitted on every one of the 5 windscreen variants we list; model years 2021–2026.

A printed VIN reference box along the bottom edge of your windscreen helps identify your vehicle's chassis number at a glance.

    What it means

A VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) notch is a small printed or etched box positioned along the lower edge of the windscreen that displays your vehicle's chassis number. This reference marking is a manufacturing and administrative feature, allowing quick visual identification of the vehicle without needing to consult documents. It's particularly useful for service records, insurance claims, and vehicle registration purposes. The notch itself doesn't affect the structural integrity or safety performance of the glass.

    How to tell

Look along the bottom edge of your windscreen — typically in one of the lower corners — for a small rectangular box containing printed digits or characters. If you're uncertain, check your vehicle's service handbook or ask your dealership or service centre to confirm whether your model includes this feature.

    Replacement impact

When your windscreen is replaced, the new glass will retain the VIN notch printed or etched by the manufacturer. This is a standard feature on replacement windscreens for compatible vehicles and requires no additional work or adjustment. The notch does not affect glass fitting, cure time, or any post-replacement calibration procedures.

  • Solar Control4
    2021–2026

On the Kia EV6: fitted on 4 of the 5 windscreen variants we list (80%); model years 2021–2026.

Solar control glass absorbs infrared rays to reduce heat and improve cabin comfort.

    What it means

Solar control is a coating applied to the windscreen that absorbs the sun's infrared radiation rather than allowing it to pass through into the cabin. This reduces solar heat gain, helping to keep the interior cooler and more comfortable, particularly in warm weather or direct sunlight. The coating is transparent to visible light, so it doesn't darken the windscreen or affect visibility. It's a passive thermal management feature that works continuously whenever the sun is shining on the glass.

    How to tell

Check your vehicle's specification sheet or contact your dealership service centre to confirm whether solar control glass is fitted. Some manufacturers list it as 'solar control windscreen', 'heat-reflective glass', or 'thermal management glass'. It's a factory-fitted feature and won't be visibly obvious from outside the car — the coating is integral to the glass itself.

    Replacement impact

Solar control glass is a factory-fitted specification. When replacing the windscreen, a solar control variant must be sourced to match the original. This is a standard glass type with no special fitting implications or calibration requirements. Cure and drive-away times follow normal windscreen bonding procedures. Confirm with your fitter that the replacement glass includes solar control to maintain the original thermal performance.

  • HUD - Head Up Display2
    2021–2026No calibration after replacement

On the Kia EV6: fitted on 2 of the 5 windscreen variants we list (40%); model years 2021–2026; no calibration after replacement.

    What it means

A projector that displays your speed, navigation, and vehicle information directly onto the windscreen, visible from the driver's seat.

    On your Kia EV6

Look for a projected image of speed or navigation on the glass when you drive — present on all EV6 models.

About the Kia EV6

The Kia EV6 is a fully electric crossover that arrived in 2021, bringing modern ADAS technology as standard across its range. Every EV6 features a forward-facing camera mounted behind the windscreen as part of Kia's DriveWise safety suite, which includes lane-departure warning and forward collision-avoidance assist.

Your windscreen is laminated and carries a subtle green tint — typical of modern automotive glass. You'll also notice a rain sensor that triggers your wipers automatically, and many variants include a head-up display projecting speed and navigation onto the glass itself.

Because the EV6's camera is integral to its safety systems, windscreen replacement includes static calibration of the ADAS camera after the glass is fitted. This ensures lane-keeping and collision systems work correctly after replacement.
