The Ford Mondeo has been in continuous production since 1992, evolving through five distinct generations. Early models carried straightforward laminated windscreens with minimal features, while mid-generation Mondeos from the 2000s onwards introduced rain sensors, heated glass, and acoustic interlayers as standard on many trims.
