Daihatsu Sirion windscreen price, by year

Replacement costs vary primarily with generation and the specific trim specification of your Sirion — later models may incorporate acoustic or solar-control interlayers, which adds complexity to sourcing. Since the Sirion predates the ADAS era, calibration isn't a factor; pricing remains straightforward across all variants.

Year Price range Quote
2010 £325 £325 Price my 2010
2009 £325 £325 Price my 2009
2008 £325 £325 Price my 2008
2002 £313 £313 Price my 2002
2001 £313 £313 Price my 2001
2000 £313 £313 Price my 2000
1999 £313 £313 Price my 1999

The displayed range is an indicator — the final price is produced by the quote form after you confirm your variant. Older Sirions can still be booked.

Every step of the way I was given…

Every step of the way I was given updates and progress by Paul the operations manager . He listened to me and was willing to do the requests although my back window was not easy to find he found it and efficiently managed the situation and most importantly did the job, saving my car which according to the insurance needed writing off. I can only thankyou so much for your efforts and thank UkCarglass so much for your hard work.

Booking on line took order and confirmed the window screen replacement for this Tuesday, arranged to travel and take time from work only to get an email today to say can not be done until next week. Terrible service (or lack of service)

Misleading pricing practice

I submitted the details of my vehicle including license plate (from which they can get the VIN) and was given a quote for a replacement windscreen with calibration and home installation. It was a good price compared to competitors and the technician would have been able to repair at home. I accepted the quote and made payment for £889.11, and waited for the confirmation of date and time of installment. 18 hours later I received a call saying that a technician would be able to come out tomorrow to install, however the price quoted was incorrect and in fact it would be £200 more expensive as they got the windscreen part number wrong. Very annoying and potentially misleading pricing practice. I told them to recredit my card and that I would look elsewhere

What to expect during your Daihatsu Sirion windscreen replacement

Booking your Sirion windscreen replacement through UK Car Glass is a simple four-step process.

  1. 1

Use our online quote tool to select your Sirion's year and trim — it takes about a minute.

  2. 2

Confirm your quote and book a fitting slot that suits you; most customers are matched with a fitter within 24 hours.

  3. 3

On fitting day, the technician arrives at your chosen location (mobile at home or at a workshop) with the replacement glass matched to your factory specification.

  4. 4

The fitting typically takes 45–90 minutes of the fitter's time, depending on the vehicle's condition and trim. Your fitter will confirm the drive-away time before leaving.

  5. 5

You're covered by a two-year warranty on the glass and workmanship — contact us if you have any concerns in that period.

Book with confidence: your replacement glass is UK-approved for the road, and you're matched with a specialist who understands older Daihatsu models.

Mobile fitting or workshop visit for your Sirion?

The Sirion is a straightforward fit that typically works well for mobile replacement at your home or workplace — there's no ADAS calibration to arrange. Your fitter will assess the job on the day and confirm whether mobile or workshop is best for your specific vehicle and location.

We confirm the specific answer for your vehicle when you book.

  • Green2
    1999–2010

Green tint reduces glare and improves visual comfort by filtering certain light wavelengths.

    What it means

Green tint is a light-filtering coating applied to the glass during manufacture. It absorbs and reduces transmission of certain wavelengths of light, primarily to cut glare from sunlight and reflections. The tint is subtle — often barely visible to the naked eye — but measurably improves visual comfort during prolonged driving, particularly in bright conditions. It's a factory specification chosen by the vehicle manufacturer to balance daylight comfort with interior visibility and aesthetic consistency across all glass in the vehicle.

    How to tell

The easiest way to check is to roll your side window halfway down and hold a piece of white paper behind it. Look carefully for a tint cast — green tint will appear as a subtle green hue compared to clear glass. Your windscreen will have the same tint as your side windows. You can also ask your vehicle's dealership or service centre — they'll have the original specification on file.

    Replacement impact

Green-tinted replacement glass must match the original tint specification to maintain visual consistency across all windows and preserve the vehicle's interior aesthetics. Aftermarket OE-equivalent (OEE) green-tinted glass is widely available, though some vehicles may require original equipment (OEM) dealership glass if the tint specification is proprietary. Tint does not affect calibration, cure time, or installation procedure — it's a cosmetic and functional specification only.

About the Daihatsu Sirion

The Daihatsu Sirion is a compact city car that was produced from 1999 to 2010, spanning two generations with practical design and easy-to-service construction. Throughout its production run, the Sirion's windscreen features a subtle green tint — a characteristic of the glass manufacturing process that's present on all variants in our catalogue.

Earlier models from the initial generation (1999–2005) carry straightforward laminated windscreens, while later Sirions maintained consistent glass specifications across trims. The Sirion was developed before widespread ADAS adoption in the compact segment, so windscreen replacement does not involve camera recalibration on any variant in our active stock.
