DAF 3600 windscreen price, by year

Pricing for the DAF 3600 windscreen reflects the vehicle's age and the specialist's sourcing options. Older commercial vehicles sometimes see wider price variation because aftermarket glass availability is less predictable than for current models. Your specialist will confirm exact pricing once they've verified stock availability for your specific windscreen variant.

Year Price range Quote
1995 £669 £669 Price my 1995
1994 £669 £669 Price my 1994
1993 £669 £669 Price my 1993

1990 £669 £669 Price my 1990
1989 £669 £669 Price my 1989

The displayed range is an indicator — the final price is produced by the quote form after you confirm your variant. Older 3600s can still be booked.

5 stars from start to finish

I received an instant quote from UK Car Glass, £200 cheaper than a competitor for a full windscreen replacement. Booked it, technician arrived when he said he would, communication throughout was outstanding and the work done was top notch. I couldn't fault the service I received, 5 stars.

What to expect during your DAF 3600 windscreen replacement

Booking and replacement follow a straightforward four-stage process.

  1. 1

Start with an online quote — answer a few questions about your DAF 3600 and get an instant estimate in under 60 seconds.

  2. 2

Once booked, our parts team checks that your exact windscreen variant is in stock and confirms the specialist assigned to your job.

  3. 3

Your technician arranges a time that suits you — typically mobile fitting at your location, or workshop if you prefer.

  4. 4

On the day, the fitter removes the old windscreen, cleans the frame, bonds the new glass, and confirms your drive-away time (which depends on the adhesive used and ambient conditions).

  5. 5

You're covered by a two-year warranty on the replacement — both the glass and the workmanship.

The whole process from quote to booking takes under two minutes online.

Mobile fitting or workshop visit for your 3600?

The DAF 3600 is a commercial vehicle without ADAS camera systems, so windscreen replacement typically proceeds as a straightforward mobile job at your location. However, if you prefer a workshop environment or your location presents access challenges, your specialist can arrange a workshop fitting instead — either option is available through your booking.

We confirm the specific answer for your vehicle when you book.

  • Clear1
    1985–1995Calibration varies by vehicle

Clear windscreen glass has no tint; most cars have a slight tint as standard.

    What it means

A clear windscreen contains no added tint layer. Most modern windscreens incorporate a subtle tint (typically blue, green, grey or bronze) as standard to reduce glare, provide UV protection, and improve cabin comfort. A genuinely clear windscreen is the absence of this tint. Clear glass is less common than tinted variants and is sometimes specified for aesthetic or operational reasons, though the tint difference is usually imperceptible to the naked eye.

    How to tell

Lower your side window halfway and hold a white piece of paper behind it. If you see a noticeable colour cast (blue, green, grey or bronze) in the side glass, your windscreen has the same tint. You can also ask your vehicle's dealership or service centre to confirm the windscreen specification in your service records.

    Replacement impact

Clear windscreen replacement uses the same installation process as any other windscreen. No special calibration or extended cure time applies. Sourcing is straightforward — clear glass is widely available as an aftermarket replacement. Installation time and drive-away restrictions follow standard windscreen replacement timings. If your vehicle has ADAS features (forward-facing camera or radar), calibration may be required after replacement depending on your specific vehicle; we confirm this when we look up your car details.

About the DAF 3600

The DAF 3600 is a heavy commercial vehicle produced between 1985 and 1995, designed for long-haul and distribution work. As a lorry of this era, it features a straightforward laminated windscreen with clear glazing — typical of commercial vehicles from this period.

Replacement windscreens for the DAF 3600 are matched to the original factory specification and sourced by the specialist you're matched with. These are older vehicles, so availability depends on whether your supplier stocks the variant — the three-component rule applies (customer, glass in stock, and a technician willing to do the job).
