The Audi e-Tron has been in production since 2018, establishing itself as Audi's flagship electric SUV. All variants across the range feature a green-tinted laminated windscreen with rain sensors and acoustic noise-reduction glass — a standard specification reflecting the model's premium positioning.
Every e-Tron windscreen includes a bracket for the forward-facing safety camera, which supports Audi pre sense front, active lane assist, adaptive cruise assist, and traffic sign recognition. A VIN notch is also present on all variants, and the sensor heated zone prevents moisture ingress into the camera assembly.
Static camera calibration is required after windscreen replacement on all e-Tron models. This is performed indoors at a workshop with the vehicle stationary, using printed targets placed at manufacturer-specified distances and heights. The calibration runs in parallel with adhesive cure, so it does not extend your minimum drive-away time — though the fitting itself takes longer than a non-ADAS windscreen.
