The Toyota RAV4 has been in continuous production since 1994, evolving through five generations with increasingly sophisticated glass and trim features. Earlier models carry straightforward toughened rear windows, while later generations feature encapsulated trim, integrated hardware, and in some cases colour-tinted or solar-control glass.
From around 2018 onwards, Toyota Safety Sense systems began appearing across the RAV4 range, introducing forward-facing camera equipment. Though the rear window itself doesn't carry cameras, the vehicle's overall electronics ecosystem affects how replacement glass is specified and sourced.
