Nissan Pulsar windscreen price, by year

Prices vary depending on whether your Pulsar carries acoustic glass, solar-control coating, or both. Models with these premium options cost more to replace than standard variants. Earlier 2014–2015 models are generally more affordable than later 2016–2018 cars, and the specialist you're matched with will source glass tailored to your specification.

Had to replace the windscreen on our 18 year old car

Had to replace the windscreen on our 18 year old car because it had become dangerous due to thousands of micro chips. The low winter sun made it impossible to see out of. Searching online found UK Car Glass. The price was reasonable and I made an online booking for 2 days later. Unfortunately due to storms a nice lady from the company phoned me and asked if we could postpone fitting for 2 days till the weather cleared which was no problem. The fitter turned up as promised and the job was done within half an hour. Overall a good experience. UK Car Glass appear to be a nationwide company who sub contract to existing windscreen fitting companies. In view of this it may be worthwhile directly contacting a local firm first to check their pricing as it's possible they may be a bit cheaper because their won't be a middleman. However, I've no complaints. Ease of booking, communication etc is excellent.

More professional than autoglass

Polite, prompt and efficient. Contacted Uk Car Glass and autoglass for quotes, autoglass were suppose to call with in a window and they didn’t, by the time they contacted me the job had been done.

Very happy with UK car glass

Very happy with UK car glass. They offered the lowest quote and an online booking service. After an initial confirmation email, I heard nothing further for a week, so I called to check that my car was still booked in for a new windscreen. I was informed that it was and they would be in touch to confirm the ETA. The team kept me informed over the weekend, the technician called and updated me again on the day, and arrived when he said he would. The screen was changed efficiently and the technician was polite and helpful. I would use the company again and recommend UK car glass to others.

From quote to fitted glass, the entire process is designed to be quick, transparent, and backed by our network of trusted local specialists.

Mobile fitting or workshop visit for your Pulsar?

Most 2014–2018 Pulsars don't carry windscreen-mounted ADAS cameras, so replacement can be completed at your home or workplace as standard mobile fitting. Your technician arrives fully equipped to remove the old glass, seal, and fit your replacement, typically finishing in 45–90 minutes.

If you prefer a workshop environment or have concerns about weather or access, you can always choose a fixed location at booking. The choice is yours.

We confirm the specific answer for your vehicle when you book.

What features does your Pulsar have?

Tap a feature to see what it is, how to spot it on your car, and how it affects glass replacement. We confirm the exact match for your vehicle when you book.

  • Green2
    2014–2018

On the Nissan Pulsar: fitted on every one of the 2 windscreen variants we list; model years 2014–2018.

    What it means

A subtle green tint applied to the laminated windscreen during manufacture — almost invisible to the eye — that helps reduce glare and heat transmission.

    On your Nissan Pulsar

This green tint is a standard manufacturing feature on all UK Pulsars in this generation and will be matched automatically in your replacement glass.

  • Rain Sensor2
    2014–2018No calibration after replacement

On the Nissan Pulsar: fitted on every one of the 2 windscreen variants we list; model years 2014–2018; no calibration after replacement.

    What it means

Automatic wipers that activate when rain is detected on the windscreen, improving visibility and safety in wet conditions.

    On your Nissan Pulsar

Check whether your wipers turn on automatically during light rain without you touching the stalk — if they do, your Pulsar has a rain sensor. Confirmed during the quote.

  • Vin Notch2
    2014–2018

On the Nissan Pulsar: fitted on every one of the 2 windscreen variants we list; model years 2014–2018.

    What it means

A small box printed or etched at the bottom of the windscreen containing the vehicle's VIN (chassis number) for identification and tracking purposes.

    On your Nissan Pulsar

Look at the bottom edge of your windscreen — you'll see a small box with numbers. Your replacement will include this matching your original.

  • Acoustic (Noise reduction)1
    2014–2018

On the Nissan Pulsar: fitted on 1 of the 2 windscreen variants we list (50%); model years 2014–2018.

    What it means

A special sound-dampening interlayer in the laminated glass that reduces wind and road noise inside the cabin, creating a quieter driving experience.

    On your Nissan Pulsar

Acoustic glass is standard across both active Pulsar variants in our catalogue. Your replacement will match this specification automatically.

  • Solar Control1
    2014–2018

On the Nissan Pulsar: fitted on 1 of the 2 windscreen variants we list (50%); model years 2014–2018.

    What it means

An infrared-absorbing coating on the windscreen that blocks the sun's heat, keeping the cabin cooler and reducing air-conditioning workload.

    On your Nissan Pulsar

Solar-control glass is optional on certain Pulsar trims; confirmation is made during the quote process. If your Pulsar has it, replacement glass will include the same coating.

About the Nissan Pulsar

The Nissan Pulsar has been a compact family favourite since its 2014 relaunch, built on a shared platform with the Renault Clio. All windscreens fitted to UK-market Pulsars in this era carry laminated safety glass with a subtle green tint, a rain sensor for automatic wiper activation, and a VIN notch at the base.

Most variants also feature acoustic interlayer technology to reduce wind and road noise, while around half the range includes solar-control glass to manage cabin temperature. Earlier models in this generation don't carry windscreen-mounted ADAS cameras, so replacement is typically straightforward and mobile-friendly.

The rain sensor and acoustic features mean replacement glass must match your vehicle's exact specification — our parts check team confirms the right variant before the technician arrives.

Frequently asked questions

The questions customers ask us most often.

You don't need to know. Our online widget asks a few quick questions — make, model, year, and a couple of feature details — to narrow the variant down. Once booked, our parts check team verifies the exact specification against your VIN before the job is dispatched.

Almost always, yes, where a forward-facing camera is fitted. The technicians in our network include ADAS-calibration-certified specialists — we confirm whether your job needs a workshop or can complete on your driveway when we book.

Your replacement glass matches your original factory specification — same size, features and trim fitment as the glass the car left the factory with. It's UK-approved for the road and typically supplied by tier-1 manufacturers like Pilkington, Saint-Gobain, and AGC.

OEM-branded glass (with the vehicle-maker logo) is available on request at a higher price.

Most windscreen replacements happen at your chosen location — home, office, or car park. Some jobs are better suited to a workshop — for example, windscreens with ADAS cameras needing static calibration, or where access to power, shelter, or controlled conditions makes the work safer indoors. We let you know when we confirm your booking.

Most windscreen replacements take 45–90 minutes of the technician's time. ADAS calibration extends the technician's time on the job, but cure time runs in parallel — so it doesn't usually delay when you can drive. Your technician will confirm exact timings on the day.

Most UK comprehensive policies include glass cover, typically with an excess of £75–£100. If your insurer is on our approved list, the specialist you're matched with bills them directly and you just pay the excess.

Otherwise you can pay UK Car Glass directly and claim back from your insurer — our all-inclusive price is often lower than the excess anyway, so paying direct can work out cheaper.

Two years on workmanship defects — water leaks, wind noise, bonding failures — from the date of replacement. If the specialist's work isn't right, we arrange to put it right under the warranty process.

No — this generation of Pulsar doesn't carry a windscreen-mounted forward-facing camera, so ADAS calibration isn't required. Your replacement is straightforward and quick.

Both carry rain sensors and acoustic glass, but one includes solar-control coating for additional heat rejection. This trim difference affects the replacement glass specification but is handled automatically during the quote and parts check.

Yes — your replacement glass is matched to your vehicle's exact factory specification during the parts check. If your Pulsar has green tint, rain sensor, acoustic glass, or solar control, your replacement will include all of these.

This ensures the glass performs identically to the original and maintains your car's safety, comfort, and visibility.

It depends on technician availability in your area, but many customers arrange same-day or next-day fitting. You'll see available dates and times during booking, and the specialist you're matched with will confirm final details with you.
