Nissan Pixo windscreen price, by year

Price variation across the Pixo range is minimal because all variants in our catalogue carry the same windscreen specification — green tint and solar control. Differences reflect only glass-sourcing availability and technician travel distance.

Year Price range Quote

2012 £288 — £288 Price my 2012

2010 £288 — £288 Price my 2010

Had to replace the windscreen on our 18 year old car

Had to replace the windscreen on our 18 year old car because it had become dangerous due to thousands of micro chips. The low winter sun made it impossible to see out of. Searching online found UK Car Glass. The price was reasonable and I made an online booking for 2 days later. Unfortunately due to storms a nice lady from the company phoned me and asked if we could postpone fitting for 2 days till the weather cleared which was no problem. The fitter turned up as promised and the job was done within half an hour. Overall a good experience. UK Car Glass appear to be a nationwide company who sub contract to existing windscreen fitting companies. In view of this it may be worthwhile directly contacting a local firm first to check their pricing as it's possible they may be a bit cheaper because their won't be a middleman. However, I've no complaints. Ease of booking, communication etc is excellent.

More professional than autoglass

Polite, prompt and efficient. Contacted Uk Car Glass and autoglass for quotes, autoglass were suppose to call with in a window and they didn’t, by the time they contacted me the job had been done.

Very happy with UK car glass

Very happy with UK car glass. They offered the lowest quote and an online booking service. After an initial confirmation email, I heard nothing further for a week, so I called to check that my car was still booked in for a new windscreen. I was informed that it was and they would be in touch to confirm the ETA. The team kept me informed over the weekend, the technician called and updated me again on the day, and arrived when he said he would. The screen was changed efficiently and the technician was polite and helpful. I would use the company again and recommend UK car glass to others.

Mobile fitting or workshop visit for your Pixo?

The Pixo (2009–2013) does not carry windscreen-mounted ADAS cameras, so no calibration is required after replacement. This means mobile fitting at your home or workplace is the standard option — your fitter brings everything needed and completes the job on site. You can always choose a workshop visit if you prefer, but there's no technical reason to require one.

We confirm the specific answer for your vehicle when you book.

What features does your Pixo have?

Tap a feature to see what it is, how to spot it on your car, and how it affects glass replacement. We confirm the exact match for your vehicle when you book.

  • Green1
    2009–2013

On the Nissan Pixo: fitted on every one of the 1 windscreen variant we list; model years 2009–2013.

    What it means

A subtle tint present on all Pixo windscreens — approximately 90% of automotive glass carries this factory tint, which is difficult to spot unless you look carefully.

    On your Nissan Pixo

Standard on all Pixo models from 2009–2013 in our catalogue; confirmed during your quote.

  • Solar Control1
    2009–2013

On the Nissan Pixo: fitted on every one of the 1 windscreen variant we list; model years 2009–2013.

    What it means

A solar-coated windscreen that absorbs the sun's infrared rays, reducing cabin temperature and UV entry — a key feature on this compact car for summer comfort.

    On your Nissan Pixo

Standard on all Pixo variants; fitted as part of your factory specification.

  • Vin Notch1
    2009–2013

On the Nissan Pixo: fitted on every one of the 1 windscreen variant we list; model years 2009–2013.

A printed VIN reference box along the bottom edge of your windscreen helps identify your vehicle's chassis number at a glance.

    What it means

A VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) notch is a small printed or etched box positioned along the lower edge of the windscreen that displays your vehicle's chassis number. This reference marking is a manufacturing and administrative feature, allowing quick visual identification of the vehicle without needing to consult documents. It's particularly useful for service records, insurance claims, and vehicle registration purposes. The notch itself doesn't affect the structural integrity or safety performance of the glass.

    How to tell

Look along the bottom edge of your windscreen — typically in one of the lower corners — for a small rectangular box containing printed digits or characters. If you're uncertain, check your vehicle's service handbook or ask your dealership or service centre to confirm whether your model includes this feature.

    Replacement impact

When your windscreen is replaced, the new glass will retain the VIN notch printed or etched by the manufacturer. This is a standard feature on replacement windscreens for compatible vehicles and requires no additional work or adjustment. The notch does not affect glass fitting, cure time, or any post-replacement calibration procedures.

About the Nissan Pixo

The Nissan Pixo (2009–2013) is a compact city car engineered for tight urban driving. Its windscreen comes fitted as standard with a green tint and solar-control coating to reduce cabin heat and UV exposure.

This generation predates Nissan's ProPILOT Assist and Intelligent Mobility camera systems, so windscreen replacement is straightforward — no ADAS calibration is required after fitting. The glass itself is laminated for structural integrity, matched to your original factory specification.

Frequently asked questions

The questions customers ask us most often.

You don't need to know. Our online widget asks a few quick questions — make, model, year, and a couple of feature details — to narrow the variant down. Once booked, our parts check team verifies the exact specification against your VIN before the job is dispatched.

Almost always, yes, where a forward-facing camera is fitted. The technicians in our network include ADAS-calibration-certified specialists — we confirm whether your job needs a workshop or can complete on your driveway when we book.

Your replacement glass matches your original factory specification — same size, features and trim fitment as the glass the car left the factory with. It's UK-approved for the road and typically supplied by tier-1 manufacturers like Pilkington, Saint-Gobain, and AGC.

OEM-branded glass (with the vehicle-maker logo) is available on request at a higher price.

Most windscreen replacements happen at your chosen location — home, office, or car park. Some jobs are better suited to a workshop — for example, windscreens with ADAS cameras needing static calibration, or where access to power, shelter, or controlled conditions makes the work safer indoors. We let you know when we confirm your booking.

Most windscreen replacements take 45–90 minutes of the technician's time. ADAS calibration extends the technician's time on the job, but cure time runs in parallel — so it doesn't usually delay when you can drive. Your technician will confirm exact timings on the day.

Most UK comprehensive policies include glass cover, typically with an excess of £75–£100. If your insurer is on our approved list, the specialist you're matched with bills them directly and you just pay the excess.

Otherwise you can pay UK Car Glass directly and claim back from your insurer — our all-inclusive price is often lower than the excess anyway, so paying direct can work out cheaper.

Two years on workmanship defects — water leaks, wind noise, bonding failures — from the date of replacement. If the specialist's work isn't right, we arrange to put it right under the warranty process.

The Pixo windscreen (2009–2013) does not carry heated glass or rain-sensor technology. These features are not fitted to this generation. The windscreen is laminated with green tint and solar control — confirmed during your quote.

No. The Pixo predates Nissan's ProPILOT Assist and Intelligent Mobility camera systems, so there is no windscreen-mounted camera or ADAS calibration required after replacement. Your fit is straightforward — typically 45–90 minutes of the technician's time, and you can drive away once the adhesive has cured, usually within a couple of hours.

All replacements through UKCG come with a two-year warranty covering workmanship and glass quality. Your technician documents the condition of your windscreen frame at replacement, and the warranty covers any issues traceable to the fit itself.
