Mazda BT 50 windscreen price, by year

Prices for the BT-50 windscreen are among the most affordable in the pickup segment, as these older models lack the ADAS systems and acoustic interlayers that add cost to modern vehicles. Variation is minimal across the active variants in our catalogue.

Year Price range Quote
2010 £267 £267 Price my 2010
2009 £267 £267 Price my 2009
2008 £267 £267 Price my 2008
2007 £267 £267 Price my 2007
2006 £267 £267 Price my 2006

The displayed range is an indicator — the final price is produced by the quote form after you confirm your variant. Older BT 50s can still be booked.

Booking on line took order and confirmed the window screen replacement for this Tuesday, arranged to travel and take time from work only to get an email today to say can not be done until next week. Terrible service (or lack of service)

Misleading pricing practice

I submitted the details of my vehicle including license plate (from which they can get the VIN) and was given a quote for a replacement windscreen with calibration and home installation. It was a good price compared to competitors and the technician would have been able to repair at home. I accepted the quote and made payment for £889.11, and waited for the confirmation of date and time of installment. 18 hours later I received a call saying that a technician would be able to come out tomorrow to install, however the price quoted was incorrect and in fact it would be £200 more expensive as they got the windscreen part number wrong. Very annoying and potentially misleading pricing practice. I told them to recredit my card and that I would look elsewhere

Efficient replacement of B-Max Rear Window

Some difficulty locating replacement rear offside window for my Ford B-Max at the right price. After slight delay efficient service by office administrators and installer.

What to expect during your Mazda BT 50 windscreen replacement

Replacing your BT-50 windscreen follows a simple, familiar process from start to finish.

  1. 1

Use our online widget to get an instant quote — answer a few quick questions about your vehicle and you'll see pricing in under a minute.

  2. 2

Once you're happy, complete your booking online. Our team carries out a parts check to confirm the exact glass specification.

  3. 3

We match you with an approved technician in your area who can fit at a time that suits you.

  4. 4

The technician will replace your windscreen, typically on a mobile visit to your home or workplace — though you can choose a workshop if you prefer.

  5. 5

Your fitter will confirm your drive-away time before leaving. You're covered by a two-year workmanship warranty from the date of replacement.

Mobile or workshop, the process is transparent, fast, and backed by reviews from thousands of customers on Trustpilot.

Mobile fitting or workshop visit for your BT 50?

The BT-50 predates Mazda's i-ACTIVSENSE camera systems, so your windscreen replacement doesn't require ADAS calibration. This means mobile fitting at your home, farm, or workplace is the default — quick, convenient, and no workshop visit needed. If you prefer a workshop setting or have poor access for a mobile visit, you can choose that at booking.

We confirm the specific answer for your vehicle when you book.

    2006–2010

Green tint reduces glare and improves visual comfort by filtering certain light wavelengths.

    What it means

Green tint is a light-filtering coating applied to the glass during manufacture. It absorbs and reduces transmission of certain wavelengths of light, primarily to cut glare from sunlight and reflections. The tint is subtle — often barely visible to the naked eye — but measurably improves visual comfort during prolonged driving, particularly in bright conditions. It's a factory specification chosen by the vehicle manufacturer to balance daylight comfort with interior visibility and aesthetic consistency across all glass in the vehicle.

    How to tell

The easiest way to check is to roll your side window halfway down and hold a piece of white paper behind it. Look carefully for a tint cast — green tint will appear as a subtle green hue compared to clear glass. Your windscreen will have the same tint as your side windows. You can also ask your vehicle's dealership or service centre — they'll have the original specification on file.

    Replacement impact

Green-tinted replacement glass must match the original tint specification to maintain visual consistency across all windows and preserve the vehicle's interior aesthetics. Aftermarket OE-equivalent (OEE) green-tinted glass is widely available, though some vehicles may require original equipment (OEM) dealership glass if the tint specification is proprietary. Tint does not affect calibration, cure time, or installation procedure — it's a cosmetic and functional specification only.

About the Mazda BT 50

The Mazda BT-50 is a mid-size pickup truck produced from 2006 to 2010, built on a shared platform with the Ford Ranger. It's a workhorse favoured by tradespeople and rural users across the UK.

Windscreens on these models carry a subtle green tint — a manufacturing standard that's present on nearly all variants. The glass itself is straightforward laminated safety glass without the advanced features found on modern Mazdas.

Because these vehicles predate Mazda's i-ACTIVSENSE camera systems, windscreen replacement is straightforward — no camera recalibration needed after fitting.
