The MG ZS has been in continuous production since 2017, evolving through two main generations with steady refinement of its windscreen and driver-assistance features.
Earlier ZS models from 2017–2019 carry straightforward laminated windscreens with VIN notches and rain sensors on many trims. From around 2020 onwards, MG's Pilot ADAS suite introduced forward-facing camera systems mounted behind the windscreen to support adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and emergency braking.
Camera-equipped variants require windscreen replacement to include ADAS recalibration after fitment. A small proportion of ZS models carry green-tinted windscreens, whilst most feature standard tinting — tinting always matches across the windscreen and front side windows as original factory specification.
