Dacia Dokker windscreen price, by year

Pricing is straightforward for the Dokker because the model range is relatively compact. The main driver is generation — early-2010s models without ADAS camera systems are more affordable to replace. Later 2020–2021 variants may carry slightly higher costs if they include any driver-assistance option, though this remains rare on Dokker trims.

Year Price range Quote
2021 £398 £398 Price my 2021
2020 £398 £398 Price my 2020
2019 £398 £398 Price my 2019
2018 £398 £398 Price my 2018
2017 £398 £398 Price my 2017
2016 £398 £398 Price my 2016
2015 £398 £398 Price my 2015

The displayed range is an indicator — the final price is produced by the quote form after you confirm your variant. Older Dokkers can still be booked.

Booking on line took order and confirmed the window screen replacement for this Tuesday, arranged to travel and take time from work only to get an email today to say can not be done until next week. Terrible service (or lack of service)

Misleading pricing practice

I submitted the details of my vehicle including license plate (from which they can get the VIN) and was given a quote for a replacement windscreen with calibration and home installation. It was a good price compared to competitors and the technician would have been able to repair at home. I accepted the quote and made payment for £889.11, and waited for the confirmation of date and time of installment. 18 hours later I received a call saying that a technician would be able to come out tomorrow to install, however the price quoted was incorrect and in fact it would be £200 more expensive as they got the windscreen part number wrong. Very annoying and potentially misleading pricing practice. I told them to recredit my card and that I would look elsewhere

What to expect during your Dacia Dokker windscreen replacement

From instant quote to fitted windscreen, here's how the process flows.

  1. 1

Complete a quick online quiz (make, model, year, trim details) to identify your exact glass variant — takes about a minute.

  2. 2

Receive an instant quote, tailored to your location and the glass specification your Dokker needs.

  3. 3

Choose your fitting date and location — mobile at your address or at a local workshop.

  4. 4

On the day, your fitter arrives with matched glass, removes the old windscreen, and installs the replacement with full adhesive bonding.

  5. 5

Calibration is not required for the Dokker (ADAS cameras are uncommon on this model), so you're ready to drive once the adhesive has cured — your fitter confirms the exact drive-away time before leaving.

  6. 6

You're covered by a two-year warranty on workmanship and glass quality.

Book through UK Car Glass and you're matched with a local technician on our network, with full transparency and Trustpilot-backed reviews.

Mobile fitting or workshop visit for your Dokker?

The Dokker is normally fitted mobile at your address — most variants don't carry ADAS cameras, so there's no calibration requirement that would force a workshop visit. Mobile fitting is the default unless you prefer to visit a workshop instead, or weather makes a mobile appointment unsuitable.

We confirm the specific answer for your vehicle when you book.

  • Green1
    2012–2021

Green tint reduces glare and improves visual comfort by filtering certain light wavelengths.

    What it means

Green tint is a light-filtering coating applied to the glass during manufacture. It absorbs and reduces transmission of certain wavelengths of light, primarily to cut glare from sunlight and reflections. The tint is subtle — often barely visible to the naked eye — but measurably improves visual comfort during prolonged driving, particularly in bright conditions. It's a factory specification chosen by the vehicle manufacturer to balance daylight comfort with interior visibility and aesthetic consistency across all glass in the vehicle.

    How to tell

The easiest way to check is to roll your side window halfway down and hold a piece of white paper behind it. Look carefully for a tint cast — green tint will appear as a subtle green hue compared to clear glass. Your windscreen will have the same tint as your side windows. You can also ask your vehicle's dealership or service centre — they'll have the original specification on file.

    Replacement impact

Green-tinted replacement glass must match the original tint specification to maintain visual consistency across all windows and preserve the vehicle's interior aesthetics. Aftermarket OE-equivalent (OEE) green-tinted glass is widely available, though some vehicles may require original equipment (OEM) dealership glass if the tint specification is proprietary. Tint does not affect calibration, cure time, or installation procedure — it's a cosmetic and functional specification only.

About the Dacia Dokker

The Dacia Dokker has been in continuous production since 2012, offering practical family transport across two generations with minimal trim variation. Throughout its run, the Dokker carries a tinted windscreen — a subtle green tint that's characteristic of Dacia's approach to factory glass.

Earlier Dokkers (2012–2019) feature straightforward laminated windscreens without driver-assistance cameras. The later generation (2020–2021) brought incremental updates but the Dokker's base positioning means ADAS camera fitment remains uncommon, so most variants avoid the calibration complexity found on higher-spec Dacia models like the Sandero or Bigster.
