Subaru Impreza is a compact car manufactured by Subaru since 1993. It was introduced as a replacement for the Leone, with the first generation being immediately as a compact car and later generations growing in size to become midsize cars.
In preparation for this, the Impreza was redesigned in 1992 to be more competitive against rivals Toyota Corolla/Geo Prizm and Honda Civic. This resulted in the development of a new chassis and a larger, more powerful EJ-series engine.
In more recent years, the Impreza 2.0 5MT AWD engine produces 152 HP, and the all-wheel drive transmission ensures that power is delivered to all four wheels.
This setup provides outstanding traction and stability, whether you're on dry pavement or in slippery conditions.
The transmission is a 6-speed manual with close-ratio gears. The drivetrain is a symmetrical all-wheel drive with an active torque-splitting center differential.
The suspension is independent strut front and rear with stabilizer bars. The brakes are ventilated disc front and rear with ABS and EBD. The wheels of this model are 15" alloy with 225/45 R17 tires.
