The Citroen Xsara Picasso was released in 1999 as a compact MPV car. It is based on the floorpan of the Citroën ZX and Peugeot 306 saloons.
The model had many engine variations, including petrol and diesel options. The model was also available with manual and automatic transmission options.
The Picasso was facelifted in 2004, and the second generation and released in 2007. The second generation was available with a broader range of engines, including 1.6 and 2.0-litre petrol engine options and 1.6, 2.0, and 2.2-litre diesel engine options.
The Picasso was discontinued in 2017 and replaced by the C3 Aircross model.
