The Citroƫn C6 is an executive car produced by French automaker Citroƫn. It was unveiled in June 2005 and went on sale in September of that year, replacing the Citroƫn XM.
The C6 model was well received upon its debut, with critics praising its design and comfort. However, it has not been a strong seller compared to its competitors, with Citroƫn ceasing production of the C6 back in December 2012 due to slow sales.
The C6 is distinguished from its competitors by its avant-garde styling, featuring unusual inverted front and rear light assemblies. For instance, the interior features a " floating dash", where the controls are mounted on the centre console, compared to the traditional dashboard.
The C6 is available with both petrol and diesel engines and both manual and automatic transmissions. In total, just over 80,000 C6s were sold during its seven-year production run.
